Cedar Comfort-Grip Handled Board
There’s a few features that a serving tray can have, but a natural handle is classic. With these Comfort-Grip handles, Pyro sands them with a technique inspired from one of our favorite shows, Forged in Fire. The organic texture may give you the confidence to balance more than you normally would―I don’t recommend trying that on the first go, though haha. The handle will also feature a hole at its base so if you’d prefer to hang your piece, they’re available and ready!
How do the electrifying branches form exactly?
Well, the texture was created with 10,000 volts of electricity being burned into wood! Then, handcrafted into a functional holder with custom colored resin epoxy. From one, personal burn these trays are created into an electrifying holder for 3 candles, gems, or flowers.

All items are handmade in our shop, which means that every piece we build is its own, unique creation. As we work with wood and resin, our pieces can take about 2 weeks to craft, due to curing times, weather delays, etc.. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! This is an extremely dangerous technique and is only handled with professional safety in mind. This is something that we’ve researched diligently and practice in a well-ventilated, spacious environment. Fractal burning is a technique deemed too dangerous to be recognized by a few associations within the industry and we cannot comfortably recommend trying this, so we’re here to build it for you!
Care Instructions
For our Custom Comfort-Grip Handle Board, they can be hand-washed with a non-abrasive cleaner, soap and water. Non-ammonia glass cleaners are also an option for more frequent cleaning. Never wash through a machine. These tops are best for presentations and should not be cut with a metal knife, which can create imperfections. Treat these boards with extra TLC, and they'll treat you for years to come.
